Mountain bike under 1000?

Long shot but looking to get a full sus mountain bike and my budget is quite low. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any recommendations on one for under £1000?

I haven't even considered 2nd hand really.

Have bought a couple and not had much luck with them.

Why does it have to be a full sus? Hardtail?

2nd hand full sus or new hardtail is the sensible way to spend 1k on a bike

I did exactly this. Kept an eye out on Pinkbike to get a feel for the market and what I should be spending. Ending up buying from Gumtree as the guy wasn't really clued up on how much he should be selling it for. Saved about £300 on Pinkbike prices.
