mounting 2 fans together

Hi Guys,

I have an antec Sonata2 case, and i have taken out the supplied fan and swapped with an amber fan.

Now on the front i have also got another Amber fan, and i am just wondering if i was to use the supplied fan on the other side of the front fan mount (i.e. 1 the main case side & 1 on the HDD side)

would this make much difference to cooling?

I have the sonata 2 as well and retro fitted a fan to the front of the case. I couldnt find any mounting holes,etc for it though. The manual is very vague and it sounds like you have to mount the fan on the side of the hard drives. is this correct. pics of yours would be good.

the mount is acctually not right at the front, its acctually past the HDD, which thought was a bit silly as it will be sucking heat from the HDD, i was thinking of zip tieing a fan at the front like.

I did have a photo some where, i will have a look for it, if not i will look for some batteries for my digi camera

I have taken out the two bottom hard drive trays and wedged the fan in with cardboard facing in the normal fasion as a standard front fan. Acts like a sound/vibration damper as well. Dropped my case temp by about 6c with the front fan in.
