Anybody here got any tips about mounting a 120.2 thermochill in the roof of my V1100?

What order should it look like i.e. fan grill on top of case, then fans then rad? Or Fan grill, then rad then fans. I have seen many cases with the fans at the top and the rad underneath - does this mean that the rad is attached to the fans and then the fans to the case? I cant think of a way of bolting them both together...

I guess this will also depend on whether i decide to have the fans pulling air into the case or out. Any opinions on this as well?

Cheers in advance.

you can download a .pdf from the ThermoChill site that acts as a template, so you can trace all of the screw holes to be drilled - then its a case of making a cross between the 4 corners to find the center and then armed with a 114mm holesaw cut the hole out, then drill out the 4 corner screw holes and bobs yer uncle. (in theory of course)

Thanks - will probably do this. The silent Tricod fans that i will be using have holes all the way through so i should be able to get some nice anodised (black) bolts to go all the way through. I already have a black AC Ryan grill but the holes dont line up with the rad exactly so might have to see about painting the thermochill one.

I dont need a 120.3 as i already have a PA160 at the bottom of the case as shown below. The aim is to have the one rad cooling the processor and the other cooling the GPU(s). This way i can have the fans on dead slow and hopefully a near silent (but significantly overclocked) PC.

Possibly also get a case window water cut in the side panel but havent decided on that yet. Will need to tidy up the wires even more for that though. The picture above looks kinda messy but up close u would see summin like this:

Finally does anyone know where to get black Tygon in the UK? Email me if its a competitor please. I saw it being used on another forum and really liked the look of it. Its also lets no light in at all and hence green stuff cant grow in it i.e less maintenance! :)

Here's a pic taken from other forum.

what waterblock is that u are using?

nice setup btw

The CPU block is an original Cathar Storm (all the way from AUS). The GPU block is a Polar Flo TT.

In case you were referring to the waterblock in the last pic, do a Google for "ek waterblocks". There are made by a tiny comany in Slovenia, but look like they are pretty good quality. I personally dont see the point of cooling GPU ram, but they look darn nice! :)

RE: TYGON I have found sites in the US that sell it but i dont know if they would ship over here. Maybe i should start a thread to see if others want some and i could order some in bulk! :)

Hmmm, seem to have found a place with some black uv resistant tygon r-3400, 1/2OD

But its $200 per 50ft. So thats $4 per foot.

Could get one a bulk buy here if enough people are interested.

Yeah its the 3400. I looked for 7/16" as i would prefer this for a 1/2" setup but havent managed to find any.
