Mounting a 2407

I know that the 2407 is VESA compatible however the mount section is slightly recessed - does it matter that a mount/bracket doesnt fit inside the recess?

Also the screws dont seem to be long enough. Im guessing they are standard screws I can buy or do I need a mount that fits inside the recess??

Any help would be great.

Have you got a particular mount in mind? I've mounted various Dell screens on various desk mounts and the plate always fit inside. I've always used the screws that came with the screen or the mount.
