Mounting a CD so it doesn't require the disk.

I have purchased the disk, but I don't want the disk in my laptop whilst im on the move and forever powering up.

The programme requires the original disk to run on a Mac how would I mount this disk and make it think the original is nice and cosy in my disk drive?

Would appreciate any help.

create an image of the disk and mount that. when the software asks for the disk point it to the one you have mounted.
