Well I'm finally putting my new WC rig together but the Laing DDC pump is sending too many vibrations through the case and making it rattle.

Anyone have any tips on the best way of mounting one of these to isolate vibrations? Could just plonk it on some foam but would really like it anchored down a little bit.

I use something called Gel Stuff- BUT you need to attach the pump to a bit of aluminium plate (preferably 3mm thick) to act as a heat sink otherwise it may overheat if you put it straight on any sort of foam. Gel stuff is quite sticky so no need for further anchoring. The pump is totally silent and vibration-free with this stuff:)

Yip the Gel Stuff is great. But as Surge says, you can't place the DDC directly on it for fear of overheating.

Buy some rubber washers and bolt them down or you can buy the anti-vibe mounts for a few quid.

You could get some string and suspend it from the ceiling of your case.

Not sure if this has been done or not :p

They have been live since Thursday, got a gel one due also but they have been slightly delayed. :(

Still missing loads of products that OcUK really should be stocking, easily room for 200 or more new watercooling products over the coming weeks. :)

Hi Yewen

Any news on when the XChanger 480 radiators will be in? They seem to be "up" on the official site
Thanks
Geoff :)
