Anyone have a clue as to how you mount a CD image in Vista Beta 2? I've tried every version of Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% some weird Microsoft thing and some other weird virtual CD thing from Slysoft but none of them work, I'm assuming it's down to the SCSI driver that is incompatible. Has anyone had any success? (and no, it's not for warez it's for a Creative driver CD image I need to install some stuff from)

newest version of daemon tools works... :)

i've tried it myself and can 100% confirm that. :p

Doesn't work under Vista Beta 2 (Build 5472), during the install you get a message telling you that the driver is incompatible with kernal mode debuggers and when you try and run it it tells you that the SPTDINST driver isn't installed, if you try and run the SPTDINST install seperately it won't install either.

Time to go back to XP I think.

I am running build 5472, previously used the Public Beta 2 release. The software that I used was from Slysoft.

Its free, and works with Vista Beta2. I have a lot of ISO's (Dont want to scratch the original discs installing...) Havent tried it with this build yet. I cant see why not though.

Hope this helps you.

Fraid not, didn't work either, I've gone back to XP now. Probably won't try vista again until after it's proper release. Thanks anyway (everyone)
