Hi, I'm running the bog standard ubuntu.

have you got any links where I can download Dapper?

Is it a webserver? As I can seem to find a variety of apps via google, Im not sure which is the right one.

thanks a lot

Ubuntu makes a release about every six months. The releases have both numbers and names. A while back they made the 5.10 release. The 5 denoted it was released in 2005 and the 10 denotes it came out in October. That release was nicknamed Breezy Badger. The release that followed it was 6.06, released in June of 2006. That release was nicknamed Dapper Drake. Dapper is a LTS, or long term support, release. They will release updates for a minimum of 5 years, longer than the typical release. The most bleeding-edge release out now is 6.10, nicknamed Edgy Eft. Which release do you have? It's probably either Dapper or Edgy.
