not sure where this should go as its not a build log or case orientated... so i thought it stick it here and see if it gets moved.
basically in the new year i want to mount my pc on the wall, mainly because where my desk is i dont have too much space and want a new desk that is just basically a counter top with nother under it.

looking around i cant really find any decent tuts or parts lists for what ill need so just wondering if anyone has any experience with this or can point me in the right direction

Assuming the desk is a reasonable size, why not use a small form factor case as they use in offices, and attach the pc to the desk, under the table. That's a much easier solution than hanging the whole thing.

Will be doing the same thing myself in the new year. Though will basically just be a shelf with strong enough support struts to hold the whole thing up. Unless you specifically don't want a shelf why not just use that method?

I have a cooler Master haf so it's a pretty beefy case. Want to get rid of it as it's about 6 years old now

Ah so you haven't actually bought one yet. Are you aware it's a fully open case, in that there are no sides and the glass top is only there for effect? That's gonna be high maintenance when it comes to keeping dust out!!

not bought yet no but will be soon, i vape close to my pc and the intakes are always sucking up the vapour and it gets really bad inside so i clean it every few days, with it at the min its under my desk so to clean it i have to get down under unplug everything pull it out then clean it out, with it wall mounted i can just do it easier also i like the look of clear windows on cases

Ah fair enough. Couldn't be doing with having to clean my pc out every few days though. Proper case with glass panel and plenty of dust filters for me!! Enjoy though and post up pics when you get it mounted.
