I have just taken delivery of this

I am thinking of mounting it to the wall AND the ceiling for extra security.

The fastening plate at either end of the screen has 1 hole for ceiling mounting and 2 holes for wall mounting. I live on the top floor of my block with access to the loft area but Im not sure if where I need the screen mounted will fall in line with the ceiling joists? Also my neighbours living room is on the other side of the wall I will be mounting the screen

If the joists dont line in the ceiling I may just use length of timber between the joist and fasten it to that. One bolt on either side would be secure enough I presume?

Iv been up the loft today for a look and it seems the joist does run where I need it to (hopefully) Whats the best way to secure the screen to the joist?

Got the screen mounted securely. Pulled it down to test it out and now I cant for the life of me get it to retract back into the casing :-( :-(

After plenty of F'n & Jeff'n I managed to get it up (thats what she said)

I think there must be a knack to it?
