Bit of a strange one.

have got round to mounting my logitech z-5500 speakers but it says to mount the centre speaker you need to turn the bracket upside down which involves removing the screw.

Now here is my problem, in the screw there is some glue or moulded plastic in the screw (seems all the speakers are like this). Any ideas on how to get the screw out.

Have you tried gently tring to turn them without removing the screw?

If this doesn't work, do you mean that there is glue/plastic in the top of the screw where the screwdriver is used?

You could just make a bracket for the speakers that will fit any stand. This is what I did.

Removing the screw fom the speaker will invalidate your warranty.
