I am looking to mount my 32" tv in my office. The plasterboard is dot and dabbed over a stone wall, so picking up existing studs is obviously out of the question.
As such I am looking for the best way to mount the TV, specifically a direct link to appropriate fixings would really help. The Tv weighs 9.8Kg without he stand.

Thanks in advance :)

well. why not just drill into the stone wall? get some longer screws to take account of the plaster and adhesive depth.

to be honest you would probably only need a couple of screws for 10kg.

Thanks for the reply.
I have done a bit more research on this and have gone for rigifix plugs which are supposedly designed to bridge the gap between the stone and plasterboard.

I just recently bought any 'Any Wall TV mount', feel free to google it. It is not installed but it is for future use, it specifically says its fine on plasterboard. 26-80'' tv compatable for the model I purchased. I will also look for a lightweight slim 32'' TV to go up on the wall

I cant see mounting a TV all that different to mounting a big heavy picture and frame or mirror with the weight of modern day TV's being much less than 10kg.
