Mouse and keyboard converter (PS3 and 360)

I - like many other PC gamers - HATE playing FPS's with a pad, so this means I can't enjoy console shooters, which is why I need a mouse and keyboard adapter.
I need one that can work for both the 360 and PS3.
I know I could just purchase the Eagle eye PS3 adapter and the 360 one as well, but that could run me over 100 pounds based on the prices I've seen.
So, does anyone know of any other good adapters that can work on both consoles?

Not aware of one that does both!

Biggest thing I miss about pc gaming is the control's, that's why I can't wait for CS so I can use my m&k again.

I used to avoid FPS as I just couldn't play with the controller. It was playing the modern warfare 2 single player campaign which helped me learn using a pad and now I can play online pretty well. You are not going to be an expert overnight but it doesn't really take that long to learn.

Using akeyboard and mouse on console FPS gives those users an unfair advantage over pad users.

I used to hate shooters on XBox/PS3, but now pretty used to them, and can still play on PC from time to time.

Let me stop you there and tell you what the 'many other PC gamers' do that have your same exact problem, they continue to game on PCs. If you want to play on console, put some time and effort in to learn the pad. I was in the same position as you were a few years ago I could've easily taken a shortcut but I didn't, it took a while but I'm pretty good with a pad now. If the developers on these games wanted you to use a keyboard and mouse for the console versions it would be an included feature and you wouldn't have to use a converter (see Unreal Tournament 3), you're lying to yourself if you think you aren't cheating.
