Mouse and Keyboard Spec

I have a new desk coming so I fancied a new line up of peripherals. I play FPS/RPG games and occasional MMO but not too much. I am also going to be typing a lot as I move onto my Post grad at uni.

I currently have a Logitech MX518
and some simple £9.99 keyboard.

I was thinking of something more exciting by way of keyboards (maybe mechanical?)

and potentially a RAT7 mouse.

No real budget in mind (read: whatever it costs, I will lie about to the missus)

Thoughts?

Im not too good with non mmo mouses, If your going with an mmo get a naga however seeing as you occasionally play mmo's a naga wont be needed.

Thanks for the keyboard recommendation I will have a read up on it.

I have just been recommended the Logitech G9x and the corsair M60 mice. Thoughts guys?
