Mouse Buffering and Freezing running Prime95

This has just happened recently after I downloaded a fresh copy of Prime95, and I'm wondering whether it could be corrupt? because ever since I have ran the new copy of Prime95, My Mouse Buffers and freezes on the desktop. So much so I have often had to use the reset to shut down Prime, because the mouse wouldnt respond

Your running prime all the time while this happens? Prime is very cpu intensive it will slow all sorts of things down even mouse movements
