Hi everyone.

So bloody annoying this is. I've two gaming pcs in the house I use and it's happening on both systems. Everytime I start Windows my mouse buttons reverse the other way, left act's as the right and vice versa. Now I know its simple to get them back but I'm having to go into mouse settings and make my right button the primary to get it back the proper way which is obviously wrong. The left should be primary.

Any idea how yo solve this? I've a zowie fk2 on one pc and a generic logitech mouse on the second system so I know it's not a particular mouse issue.

What version of Windows 10 are you on - some older versions had a bug with this.

Also possible a registry or driver setting isn't getting preserved and you'll need to manually edit it.

@Rroff I'm on the very latest version.

I think I might know whats happening. So I have two gaming pcs I use daily, one for general gaming and production the other for sim racing. It appears that every time I use one PC then go to use the other, it kinda reverses the buttons. So to explain better - I boot PC 1 and go to desktop, my buttons have reversed, so I go to mouse settings and set the other button as the primary. If I then boot PC 2 and go to desktop, the correct mapping of the buttons there has now been reversed I guess because of the changes made to PC 1. So I then change the buttons on PC 2 but now PC 1 is wrong . What the hell is going on here haha.

If you are using the same live ID as a user account on both some personalisation options carry over.

You might need to resync settings via unlinking from the online account on one system, setting the other correctly then shutting it down and relinking the other - but I'm not sure the exact steps off the top of my head to do that properly.

Yup that's exactly what it is. I've no idea how to do that either so will have to go digging around google.
