Please can someone try to help me solve this issue?

I have to click the left mouse button sometimes 3 times to register a 'click'. This could be in selecting a folder or clicking on a weblink in explorer. Sometimes I click and it acts like I'm holding the shift button and highlighting some text. I can click on a link and nothing happens when I move the mouse it sometimes just highlights the text as I'm moving the mouse without having anything held down....

This is driving me crazy......I've purchased a new Logitech mouse and keyboard.....installed the upto date drivers for Windows 64bit off the Logitech website....nothing is working.....

Hammer the right click on the background then try dragging a few boxes with the left button. My microsoft intelliexplorer left click doesnt always work until doing this. Or sometimes it will double click when single clicking or right click when left clicking.

stupid computers

It started to happen with my old logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. I purchased another upto date model, but the problem is still happening.

I'm proper fed up with Windows 7.......I keep losing my internet connection as well....'unidentified network' keeps happening. I have to reset the router.......

Funny enough I have EXACTLY the same issue. It happens intermittently and I live with it as I've never found a fix and I refuse to reinstall. I also have Win7 x64 and a Logitech Wireless mouse.

I don't think it's Win7 though, it doesn't happen on any other brand mouse that I've used.

sorry to hear about your ongoing issues with your computer, but i'd like to point out that you're using "the dot dot dot" (Ellipsis) incorrectly.

A separator dash "-" or comma "," is what you want to be using.

Additionally, an ellipsis is only ever three periods.

Uninstall the mouse drivers (Setpoint) if you have them installed. Or try ending the process of them to see if thats the problem.

Fixed the issue. The wireless usb dongle wasn't close enough to the mouse. I've moved the usb dongle thats on the lead from the back of the PC about 6 inches closer to the mouse and no problems.

Can you believe it!...

I must have been getting interference from somewhere...

As far as the ellipsis go, I use them to represent a period of time, a longer pause between the sentences to try to represent my frustration and anger... I have no idea how to correctly use the ...

Sorry for last post... i was trying to send a message to burnsy2023...can you send private messages? I want burnsy2023 to know a potential fix for his problem.

40+ hours of trying to fix this issue... 2x complete re-installs...£65 spent on a new wireless keyboard and mouse...lots of hair pulling and swearing...fixed by moving the mouse 6 inches closer...unbelievable!

I have noticed this problem on my pc also. i have a logitech g5 and sometimes it does not register a double click. I have latest setpoint installed. It is set to os implementation, it is nothing serious though. I just have to click again.

Double clicks can be missed quite easily though. You double click slightly slower or faster than set up for example. I would do into the settings and set up the double click speed again for your own speed.
