Mouse click repair

A while back, someone posted a really good guide on how to repair a mouse if you're having clicking problems. I think it was a big thread, or may have been just a link to a website. Any ideas?

Good luck its very fiddly stuff. All i can advise is to try and not bend the spring back too far it can snap easy.

I've put it all back together now, but can't get a decent click out of the spring/switch anymore. It works, but is extremely sensitive (it'll sometimes even right click when you left click) and there is no feedback.

Is it the normal D2FC-F-7N switch?

I can send you a couple of replacement switches if you want. You can either replace the metal plate with a brand new one or just solder a new switch to the mouse PCB.
