Mouse clicking problems.

I own a Saitek Cyborg v3 mouse and on Tuesday evening the left button started to miss some inputs. Yesterday it got even worse so I opened the thing up but the stubs under the mouse buttons which contact the "clicker" seem fine apart from a faint indentation. Regardless I put a dab of glue on to the stub, let it set overnight and today I gave it another shot, hoping that the slight extension might help. Apart from being a firmer press there is no difference so I opened it up again and tested it without the shell: It seems that even though the "clicker" makes a sound it doesn't always register the action and it needs a firm press to recognise the input.

I've got no idea if there is anything I can do to fix the issue or if I should shrug my shoulders and buy a new mouse. Thoughts/help? The problem "clicker" is shown below.

I have the same problem with my G500. In fact, I had 2 G500s that didnt register a left mouse click. I but it down to some windows lag somewhere. I know the mice are fine.

How old is the mouse? if it is still under warrenty send it back!
Any liquids get into it somehow?

I had a Cyborg RAT3 mouse, not the same mouse ofc but same brand and god it was awesome, for about 2 weeks before it randomly stopped working then it took nearly a month for madcatz support to get back to me.

Never again lol

I believe I purchased it more than 2 years ago which would pass the warranty unfortunately (though I don't recall where I got it from anyway so I can't check the order history - The company/website has 3 letters and it came out in a grey bag with the logo on it but that's all I can remember). I've tried the mouse on another computer and an old-but-working mouse on this one so it's definitely the Cyborg playing up. No liquids have gone near it and it hasn't been dropped to my knowledge. The other buttons are working fine with the faintest of clicks, it's just the left one which requires an unnaturally-firm press.

Considering the left click is the most used button, guessing you are a gamer but it honestly sounds like wear and tear lol, 2 years of constant clicking.

Can't comment much but I would just get a new one and avoid saitek, the new Cooler master range is good, and as per usual the trusty logitec g500.

I've decided to bite the bullet and a buy a new mouse, namely the Logitech G500. I've heard of potential cable issues but you can't go far wrong with a 3 year warranty and zero-cost-repair-and-replace.
