Mouse constantly refreshes

I bought a G500 over a year ago, just recently it's started to break, the most annoying part of this breaking is that it seems to move without me moving it...

I.E I'll watch a video fullscreen and it will pop up every minute or so, this also means that my pc will never go to sleep. I've tried turning it upside down but it doesn't help.

there's a possibility it could be a driver issue which I'm now going to check but is there something I might have changed in windows for it to start doing this?

Did you try cleaning it?
I had this problem with a Microsoft mouse and the cause was some dirt under he wheel and buttons.
On the other hand, maybe it's time for a new mouse?
I have my razer abyssus for over a year now, no problems at all, still works as new.

Yeah I gave the laser a clean and blown out the buttons. For the amount I paid for this mouse it shouldn't be anywhere near broken by now and I'm not really fancying buying a new one.

And I can't get under the buttons to clean them properly
