Mouse cursor freezes every few seconds...

Hi guys,

As above. Has literally just started today. Done a reboot, still there.

Everything up to date with Windows/drivers etc. I have a Razor mouse, it's about 3 months old.

Thoughts?

if it is the mouse you should be able to send it back and get a replacement sent out but do you have another mouse to try first incase it is not the mouse

Thanks! Yeah, will dig out a spare tomorrow...

Reading some bits online and there are a lot of other possibles too; a rogue process upsetting the disk, a Windows setting, mouse drive corruption etc.

A lot to work through

Doubt it will help but you could also try a virus scan too and a scan using this https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Try another usb port.
And make sure your HD isn't at 100% usage, for done reason. That would cause similar effects.

This morning, the last couple of hours, everything has been fine! I reckon it was a 'rogue' process
