Mouse doesn't work until re-plugged in?

Hi guys,

I have a Roccat Kone XTD mouse that has always worked flawlessly, I've always had Windows 8 with it. I've just put Windows 7 back on my machine and when I boot into Windows the curser will move but I can't click on anything with the mouse. It will only work properly when I have unplugged and replugged the USB in.

Any ideas why this would happen?

I'm just about to try another mouse.

Just tried another mouse and that worked ok. So it's Windows not liking the Roccat. Anything I can try? I've tried reinstalling the software.

Was your Windows 7 install a brand new install, to a formatted drive? Not a retro-install or anything?

Any change of behaviour in difference USB slots?

Moved it here now as it seems the mouse. It's basically not coming on at all now :/

I'll try it in my other laptop. USB ports appear done. Just the mouse that's the issue. I went into the software before it turned off and all the buttons in the config said 'disabled' which is strange.

Completely reset the profiles and it started working again.
