Mouse for under £30

Wired or wireless? The Intellimouse v3 has just been re-released and might be worth a shot although apparantly it feels exactly the same so that might be a good or a bad thing depending on your point of view. The MX518 is rated quite highly although it is just over your budget at ~£35, both these mice are wired. I've got a G7 as a wireless mouse and it is great but I very much doubt you'll find one for much less than £50.

Both the MX1000 and MX610 are quite nice mice to use, slightly on the larger side but comfortable and very solidly built, however they again might be over your budget.

Basically the best thing you can do is try out a few mice and see what feels most comfortable for you, what the best mouse is for me means very little if you don't get on with it. :)
 
The logitech g3 looks nice thinking of getting that myself, its 35 quid on ocuk which is quite a good price, but if you shop around..... ;)

LX7 is quite nice, just got me one and my only issue is that its too light for my gaming style.
