Mouse, Hard to move slowly.

Hey guys.

I just wondered, i got a new gaming mouse (Cyborg R.A.T 7) and a Razer Goliathus Speed edition mouse mat and i noticed something.

When i try to move my mouse slowly, it sometimes feels heavy, not the mouse teh actual cursour, it sometimes feels like its getting stuck, i turned of enhance pointer precision and it helped a bit, but i have it on quite high dps when im on games and less when im browsing, this gets really annoying as i play LoL and i like to scrolls through the skills to determine what i wanna pick, and then it takes ages to scroll over at the worst times.

I tried it on the desk (like i used my old mouse) no noticable difference.

Anyone have any help? using the enhance precision mode on the mouse tends to make it easier but is this just a problem with having High DPI?

High DPI, can't you lower it?

I can, it has onbuilt, the lowest i set it to when browsing is usually 800DPI, that helps but sometiems it feels off, not so much but when editing the sound of a youtube vid its frustrating.

Perhaps it just needs time to get used to it, it is brand new and i have been using a ***** basic mouse for years now.

I'll give it a few days and some tweaking, it's just having to press precide mode for simple clicks gets annoying

No this doesnt feel right atall.

On the mousematt when i move my mouse slowly it feels like its just odd, i cant explain it but it feels weird and i dont like it,

However on the wooden surface i dont notice when i move it slower (This is all playing bf3 @ 60+fps)

I dont understand this realy :/

In all seriousness though, give it a couple days at least if it's a brand new setup, usually takes me a few days to get completely used to a keyboard/mouse change.

Yea, i never liked Razer, only product i ever get from them is terribad, what a shame as jensen says.

I fixed the problem within bf3, it was raw mouse input, but that leaves me in a situation with a mouse that seems to be a bit stiff when on higher dpi trying to be precise and slow with this awful matt.

I doubt it is the dpi, as it doesnt seem to be like that.

It just seems to feel heavy at times, the mouse pointer not the mouse, and that it stops at moments and moves like upwards instead.
seems odd, im not sure if its the DPI or not as using precise mode helps if i move it at a faster speed i dont recognize it if im trying to be mega precise it is bad.
