Hi everyone,
I have installed windows7 on my new ssd, I had difficulty at first cause it won't let me go past the user agreement bottom cause of the mouse being unresponsive but I was able to press TAB and enter and eventually installed w7.
The problem now is when I turn on the machine log on with password and when machine is ready the mouse is unresponsive it seems that it's not connected but it is. I can't do anything after. Anyone here has experienced this problem and how did you solved it? Thanks in advanced for the replies.

My guess is that you have the mouse plugged into usb3 ports, or a hub for which the usb driver hasn't been installed yet with your fresh install. I suggest plugging your mouse into the usb ports closest to the PS2 port on the I/O panel at the back of your PC, also ensure you are connected to the internet in the hopes that W7 automatically installs the drivers.

Failing that, dig out a PS2 mouse and try that.
