Mouse issue

Hi, I have a rather annoying issue with my mouse. I have tried four separate ones so it is a software issue.

When I click to open a window or click the Back button in the browser, It is double clicking on a single click. It doesn't do it every time (just most times) and it is not setup to do that.

I look in device manager and see three mice.

When I uninstall one, I have no mouse and have to unplug and plug back in - three mice again.

Has anyone any idea how to sort this please, I have tried pretty much everything.

Thanks.

A lot of mice with these Omron switches are having these issues as of late. Omron used to be the go to Japanese switches for mice but they are now made by China (90% of the switches) and are made cheaper (quicker and easier to produce) and rarely make it to their rated 50 million clicks they once claimed. Barely 10 million if your lucky. Most manufactures are making their own version of switches which while aren't as good as the old Omron switches are better than the current for the most part.

It is therefore likely your mouse is using the Omron switches. What mouse have you got and how long have you had it for?
