So this might seem a bit weird but i've been experiencing mouse stutters between my old and now new rig, on two seperate mouses (mices, meeces) and different components/set ups. Basically, in desktop use and 90% of game use, my mouse judders, making games unsmooth and making desktop use a bit annoying, now it isnt harsh judders, just it doesnt feel 100% atall. My old rig was i7 4790k @ 4.5ghz, gtx 680, 8gb Ram and an MSI z97 board. i'm now primarily on a gaming laptop (for games and work) which is an i5 6600k @ 4.0ghz, gtx 980, 16GB RAm and on a Clevo board. Both had drivers up to date, both are stable in tests and both use different components (second rig which is now my wifes is her gaming rig and uses a zowie mouse and a cherry mx blue quickfire tk keyboard, she says she doesnt notice the issue atall) and mine uses a Steelseries Sensei Ra and the inbuilt laptop keyboard. I have tried fresh installing, setting up the drivers for the mouse, 6/11 on the mouse slider, 1200 dpi, plugged into a BenQ xl2720t ( not the issue as tested on other displays ) and on a fresh install (fresh installed yesterday as i do it every 5-6 months just to keep it all clear) I cant honestly figure out a fault here, i have used multiple mouses, surfaces, settings, fresh installs, drivers are all comparable and updated, temps are low, all tests (ram, cpu, gpu etc) tested for faults and come back fine. Anyone got any advice, i tried a few REG tweaks that people suggested (that removes the supposed accel in windows 10) and that didnt help, enhanced is off. I'm at a loss here
-List of fixes- New mouse, New mouse surface, Fresh install, New laptop (sold old pc with same prob but completely different components), Drivers ,Mouse settings, Dpi settings, Power options Usb ports ,Nvidia settings, Polling rate, Driver updated/best ones, Temps checked, Reapplied paste ,Reconnected Components ,Tried multiple monitors, Different display cables, Removed all usb devices, run 24 hour memtest and fault tests for components.
Thing is, i plugged my Windows 10 tablet into the same monitor using same mouse, mouse is smooth as can be.
The mouse isnt unbearable, but its not smooth, it skips and stutters and makes gaming on a mouse unplayable, but on controller its smooth and doesn't skip inputs, so i have ruled out it being a usb/motherboard issue. And the fact that it has happened between two seperate pcs with completely different specs makes me wonder.
I dont have anyone i know nearby with a gaming rig/knowledge. I figured you guys would give me more input than the usual i have gotten "Disable enhance and thats it"
