mouse + keyboard lag

Recently I just re-installed windows xp, upon installation I did the usual of installing motherboard (DFI Ultra-D) and Graphics card (7900GS) drivers, followed by mouse (Razer Diamondback) my keyboard is a Saitek Eclipse both are USB devices, for some reason I now get mouse and keyboard lag in games (WoW, Armed Assault etc) this doesnt happen in windows, ive tried turning v-sync on and off made no difference at all it still happens.

Has anyone come across this before and know of a possible solution its driving me nutts.

I had this with my MX-Revolution, lag and random jumping about. It was driving me nuts. In the logitech setpoint control panel, I changed the Speed and Acceleration settings to "OS Implementation", and all was well. HTH.

unfortunatly there isnt an option like that in the razer diamondback drivers odd thing is this has only been happening since i re-installed windows never happened before.

There's a download available, called something like mouserate switcher, its used to bump the polling rate for wireless mice - if the windows reinstall dropped the rate back to default of c.8ms . Don't know about the keyboard, mine's plugged in.
