Mouse Lift Off

Hi

I used a death adder previously on a hard icemat and it was beautiful - though i was never fond of the mat.

So I got a new deathadder recently and a purtrak talent cloth mat.....OMG the lift-off is insane, It tracks at over 3mm off the pad which is simply horrible for fps. I did a quick google and see posts where people put scotch tape over the sensor - anyone any suggestions?

So your saying that the sensitivity is too high or the mouse is too smooth? I have the same mouse as you. Be sure to check out the configorator by clicking on the system tray icon.

Hes saying the mouse still tracks if lifted 3mm off the mouse matt. For people used to only lifting their mouse very slightly in order to reposition it on the mouse mat this will mean he accidentaly keep moving the camera. Personally I've always lifted the mouse far more than 3mm so I have never sufferd from such problems.

Well 3 or 4 days it's becoming more natural to lift higher - just a matter of getting used to it i guess. The tracking this mat is incredible btw would highly recommend, just the right amount of friction. Never going back to hard mats
