I have seen a few comments on here about the titan and was just wondering if the DKT was worth getting?

Although I am shocked to be quoted over £8 postage on this site for standard postage, surely that is wrong for posting a cloth mat in the UK?

Mainly use for FPS so the large mat appeals to me.

Im not shure about the dkt but if its just a big version on the normal titan it will be a nice mat. I am using mine with a G5 and its great.

THanks for the reply. Know much about the Everglide Titan Monstermat Fnatic Edition? As its on sale somewhere for £14.99 including p&p

Either that or the gaming one for £17.99?

I think all the everglide titan mats use Fibertek so they will feel the same to use, its just down to what size you want. If you have a search on the internet you should find a few good reviews.

Well I have found them all.

Everglide Titan Monstermat DKT Edition - £17.99

Everglide Titan Monstermat Gaming - £17.99

Everglide Titan Monstermat Fnatic Edition - £14.99 (£10 off)

So is the last the best or just because its branded by a name?

fnatic are a cs clan and dkt is a old cs player who are sponsored by Everglide and its just there names/logos on the mats - same mats as pointed out above, just the fnatic one is in bright yellow.

As for a good mouse mat, really down to personal preference - some people like there mouse to be as slippery as possible whereas some people prefer a bit of friction. Cloth mats tend to give a bit of friction. I have the monster edition and its big, its bigger than 2 sheets of A4 lined up side by side portrait.

Does anyone know if the Steelpads are any good? Im currently using a really cheap plastic mat which ive had for a couple of years now so I deserve something new!

i used to be sponsored by everglide and i have to say they are the best mats i've ever had i'm currently on a Titan and it's gorgeous, just like my old DKT! used to use a Steelpad 4s (the aluminium one) and hated it! cloth all the way for me general rule of thumb is:

cloth pad for low sens users
hard surface for high sens users

Use the Steelpad SNS and its awesome, just a plastic mat with some texturing, very good for high sensitivity as said.

Always predictable when coupled with my mx1000, which is what you want from your mouse + mat.

I've got a DKT and its a brilliant mousemat, though I am a low sense player and am using a MX510, I can vouch for this mat but will say its big, but its worth it!
