Mouse mats

Hello all,

I've looked through the forum but cant find anything on this subject.

I'm after simply a mouse mat/pad. In particular for my Logitech MX Revolution. I've heard in the past about apparently dark coloured mouse mats are better than light coloured ones for laser mice. Do you think there is any truth in this?

Also, which particular mouse mat would you recommend for laser mice?

not sure if darker mats track better but i think a lot would agree that the Steelpad S&S is very good for laser mices. I'm using the mat for my logitech G7 playing FPS games and works well together.

for trackability you can't beat the steelpad 4s, but the revolution will track on most surfaces very well anyway (or i should hope so for the price ) but if it's just a mat you are after i can highly recommend Everglide's cloth pads!
