Mouse not working on Razer mat?

Hi guys

I have a logitech MX1000 which for months worked perfectly on my RazerExactmat X speed (Solid black plastic) mouse mat but now whether I have it on the textured or smooth side does seem to work?

Mouse works fine on my old Clear plastic Everglide mat though? wtf?

I much prefer the Razer as it's larger and has a wrist rest underneath but I can't work out why this happen?

I'm lost :confused: Any idea's?
 
I think it's just the mat, my G5 and G7 are fine with the Razer mat, but the MX Revolution seems far less happy. I've read that black is the most difficult colour for an optical mouse to work with (and drains the batteries quickest)...they do seem fickle on the black Razer mat.
 
I'm using an MX revolution with an eXactmat without any issues. Give the mat and mouse a clean to make sure its not dust causing the problem.
 
Hmmm

Just tried it again after a clean and nothing?

So I reset the mouse with the button underneath and the button on the charging pod and now it's working?

Not sure what the right reset process is I just pressed the mouse button first then the charging pod button?

Gonna try it ingame now

I had something similar with my old MX700 - turns out that when I moved my usb wireless adaptor it started interfering with the mouse - when I moved it away everything went back to normal.
 
I use a deathadder on a exactmat working fine...?

which razer mouse have u got?
