Mouse not working?

Hello all

Friend of mine upgraded to windows 10, all was hunky dorey, now however his keyboard and mouse aren't working? Different keyboards have been tried, no joy?

What the hells going on?

He tried UEFI mode and it worked.

EDIT: Thank you for the post!

Basically it was all working fine, keyboard, PS2 mouse I believe, he did a windows update then nothing worked beyond the bios. No mouse or keyboard type/combinations worked after the BIOS. After much swearing on his part, changing a setting in his bios to UEFI mode as opposed to legacy devices I believe appears to have resolved the problem.
