mouse on dead space

hi guys i got bored on bf3 so got dead space for 1pound anyway im have mouse troubles it just seems wierd laggy or summert has any1 else had this trouble

Yea it is an issue unfortunately. I was just lucky because the Logitech mouse I have has a DPI button that lets me crank up the sensitivity and that really helped and was an easy solution for me.

Another thing to try is turning off VSYNC, that seemed to help as well.

Turn off vsync in the game and force it via the driver and it'll get rid of that input lag.

As James says works great, its a bit better with a controller as well if you have one.

hi guys thanks i got a rat 7 should i try turning dpi up aswell. and my xbox controllers as just packed up damm thing i turn vsync off cheers is it worth playing anyway

Even once fixed I found the controls in dead spec to be horrific. Some because it looked like a really good game.

I had what you are describing in L4D2, turning off vsync solved it for me

I have the same thing in counter strike source, i have to play with vsync off

OP have you seen a movie called Event Horizon?

Its a space-based horror. Watch it, its a good one. FX look a bit dated but still creepy! Dead Space feels like a playable version of it IMO

Yeah its a mix of The Thing, Alien and Event Horizon, three of my favourite films making Dead Space one of my favourite games. The weekend deal on Steam was an absolute bargain, couldn't believe it!

Regarding the mouse issue in DS, I just disabled vsync in game and run D3DOverrider. Aiming still feels a bit slow but it's playable at least.
