I built a new PC (in sig) about 4 weeks ago. I was using all of my old peripherals without any issues for around 2-3 weeks then decided I would try a corded mouse to see if my aim was better compared to old MS wireless intellimouse explorer 3.0.
I bought a cheap Gigabyte M6880X laser mouse, which is actually really comfy and I am happy with, apart from now I have noticed that my mouse will pause for about 1-2 seconds either in game, or in windows. It seems to be random. It has been doing this since I swapped the mouse over.
Could this be a fault with the mouse and is there anything I should try? All I did before I plugged it in was uninstalled the "driver" for the MS wireless mouse, then plugged this one in and that's it.
