Mouse Pointer freezing until I click mouse button?

Hi All

I have come into work this morning and found that my mouse pointer keps freezing until I click a mouse button, then it works find again for a bit, then freezes again.

It's a logitech wireless mouse, which has been working perfectly for the last 4 years or so, and was working perfectly yesterday.

It's placed on it's charger over night every night, and the battery light is not on indicating low charge.

I'm rather puzzled as to what the problem is.

Annoyingly, having done a quick google search, I have found someone on expert-exchange who has the exact same problem which has a solution but you have to signup to view the solution, which I don't want to do.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what the problem might be and how I can solve it?...or is anyone able to view the solution?

Any help very much apprecaited as it is driving me mad, it's not easy to use photoshop when your mouse keeps freezing!!

Right, I uninstalled the drivers I had, rebooted, and the mouse was still doing it.

Have downloaded and am just installing the latest version of SetPoint as I type, fingers crossed this will fix the problem.
 
ARgh!!! been fine all day yesterday after installing the drivers/software, and been fine all morning and all of a sudden it's happening again.

ANyone able to see the solution on the link I posted in my first post?
