Mouse Pointer Keeps Stopping

Kinda annoying.

When using the pc for general pc and internet stuff, the mouse cursor keeps stopping and sticking, then starts again after a couple of seconds.

My PC is in pretty good shape, although the mouse is wireless the battery is good and not too far away from the receiver. I've tried turning the mouse on and off and also unplugging and plugging the receiver into a different USB port. I also rebooted the PC.
Ran an antivirus and malware/spyware check.

Mouse still sticking

Any advice?

Try another mouse.

Yeah, with a cheapo wired mouse.

Check logs for errors / usb receiver disconnect / reconnect / errors.

What mouse is it?

My G502 started lagging a lot. Works out I had to change the settings for the surface it was used on.
Although I use it on Logitech Cloth mousepad for some reason the software make the mouse laggy when set to that. Had to reset to default and never had a problem.

Well, I'm not sure what it was, but another restart later and it's all good. :/
The mysteries of peripherals eh?
Still.... might look into getting a new one.
