Mouse question

I need a mouse with axis lock to use in Vista, currently i use kensington mouseworks in xp to overcome this, but i have a dual boot on atm and mouseworks does not work in Vista. I've heard microsoft do Intellipoint for mice, i've installed this in Vista but it doesnt seem to have Axis lock. Does anybody know if i have to buy a Microsoft mouse to get to use the "hidden" axis lock in vista.

So if you move it left and right or up and down, no matter the path your hand would move the mouse (providing its moving in the general direction) would track in a straight line ?

i remember seeing something on the razer tools when i had them installed to do with that i believe. ill see if i can find it again

Every game has cheaters, or most do anyway, if it makes the game more fun for him, leave him to it...
