Mouse random freezes?

It is probably a mouse error; but before installing all the drivers on my new windows 7 install, it was a good mouse and did not freeze or slow down.

Ever since I installed all my drivers (graphics, etc) the mouses DPI lights go out every 10 minutes.. this is pretty annoying as the only way to get it working is to re-plug it.

My other mouse (some cheap one) is always working, despite having any lights to tell me so.

I'm using a Trust GTX14 Gaming Mouse.

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers for the mouse? It probably was using the stock Windows drivers before, then either you or Windows update decided to install the ones from Trust.

I tried that and I think it's working. But I hate it because of the fact of the software you get.

It still doesn't work, anybody know any good solutions?

I tried the drivers, now it just says 'USB DEVICE HAS MALFUNCTIONED' and gives me no lights or power on the mouse
