Mouse Randomly Double Clicking

My mouse seems to have developed a weird fault. When I've been using it lately I've found that when I'm single clicking, the PC is acting like I double clicked. This is proving to be extremely annoying at times, making me accidently close pages or do other things I didn't intend. And I swear the problem is getting progressively worse over time.

I have a Razer Deathadder mouse. Anyone know what's causing the problem and how to fix it?

same for me, i click to open a tab and it opens 3 at once.......i think its on its way out tbh

The microswitch in your mouse needs replacing. You may be able to replace it by buying another switch, or by getting a whole new mouse if that's not possible or you can't do it.

Hmmmm. I've never really been good at stuff like that. The mouse is kinda getting a bit on the old side. Probably could do with getting a more modern one anyway.
