I have a, what I think to be simple problem, but I cant find a solution.

Everytime I restart my computer my mouse sensitivity is reset to half, when I always have it at full due to the 400dpi of my mouse. Is there anyway of fixing this or anything that should be causing this behaviour?

If I unplug it and plug it back in, it goes to full sensitivity again.

any help?

Have you installed the drivers for the mouse? Or do you let Windows control it?

if you haven't installed them then try instll them and see what happens.

I can't seem to find drivers for it, its nothing special lol.

Its a Kensington studiomouse graphite. so i geuss i let windows control it.

i know this is an extremely old thread but i still need help with it!

i have installed the drivers and they made it worse then it was before.
i installed kensington mouseworks and it seems the sensitivity for up down is greater then left right. it just makes the percision of the mouse appauling.

yet im still having the problem of, when i boot without mouseworks, so im geussing its using windows generic mouse drivers, the sensitivity is only half what it should be until i unplug the mouse and then plug it back in, at which point it is a hell of a lot more sensitive which is how i like it.

anyone know how i could solve this problem?
