Mouse similar to the Intellimouse 3.0 (bought a counterfit)

Hi guys. Could anyone recommend a mouse that's the same shape and size to the legendary Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0? I've recently bought one which I thought was genuine on eBay and when it arrived I was gutted. Poor construction, loose buttons and very cheap/flimsy feeling.

So i'm after the following...

Same shape/layout
Same size though it can be bigger as I have big hands

I use the zowie fk1, pretty similar to my old intelli 3 imo

Had a quick look and it looks ambidextrous. The Intellimouse I had was right-handed.

yeh fk1 is pretty close, not a cheap mouse tho

steelseries rival is pretty close too maybe, long and snakey!
microsoft should just bring them back, unless they dont like making money?

The EC1-A would be your best bet. Not the FK1

This - IIRC the EC2-A is the closest to the original Intellimouse 3.

Shame this wasn't a week ago - I just chucked out an as new one of those as I was never going to use it

Actually I think the 3.0 is still a little bigger then the ec1. Ec2 is quite a bit smaller. I'd only recommend the EC2 for under 18cm hands

So the mouse i'll be going for is the Zowie EC1-A? Would like to look at the product page/review video but i'm at work and everything is blocked.

Yeah ec1a the 3.0 I'd still a touch bigger. Just checked I need line. But there's not a lot in it

So far my experience with Zowie have been positive (been using them for 3-4 years IIRC) - I've got 2 of the zowie camade and bought several of the mice either for myself or as presents and build quality so far has been impeccable and I can't really fault them other than the equivalent models to classic mice are a tiny tiny bit slimmer than the originals which can take a little getting used to.

The sensors just work for me though - perfect synergy - so that alone raises them in my expectation.

yeh its debatable if any gamer mouse is worth its money but as gamer mice go zowie are made pretty well, but my fav one they made i think they no longer make so

i like small and light! so pretty hard to advise
