Putting it as simply as I can...

How can I go about getting replacement slippery stuff to put on the bottom of my mice?

I could do with a sheet of the stuff actually as I have a few mice that will benefit.

For my G5 and G9 Im gettign in touch with Logitech of course but is there such a thing as generic stuff that I can cut out?

Thanks in advance

I bought the icemat glide stuff, its pretty good but i actually found that my lachesis moves faster without it

Cheers for the links, no, not competitors so you should be ok.

The thing is, that my G9 got coffee spilled on it and its got sticky and the G5 was brought down... That too has now had a drop spilled on it.. And I do mean one silly little drop too, but its gone smack down the front of the wheel and both main buttons click hard, the wheel scrolls really badly now, and I just know that the warranty does not cover coffee, so I dont want to open them up to clean them without having a plan... They work just fine as they are, just sluggish for games.

I also have a 20 year old optical mouse for my old Atari and the felt went awol on that and the bare mouse started scratching the mat ( It needs a special mat for that one ) and so I found the mouse and mat and its still tracking perfectly so I want to give that a new lease of life, and... Well, I could do some other rodents while Im at it.

So, thanks for the links, I will get there right now...

Ok, I got a proper set for the G5... I was having a look at other bits and I saw that the MX-1 pads are 10 in a pack, so, I think that these should work as a generic fix for other mice and so, I have got a couple of packs of those... Got to be worth a shot.

Many thanks.
