Mouse stops working through USB switch on only one PC

So I work remotely and got bored of switching peripherals every day and bought a USB3 switch to use my own peripherals on both my PC and my work PC. Running it through my own PC is flawless, never a hiccup. However when I'm on my work PC my mouse will randomly just stop moving the cursor about 2, maybe 3 times a work-day (9-5:30).

RGB is still on all devices, even the mouse, it just won't move the cursor until I unplug either the mouse or the output USB for my work PC.

I use it with SteelSeries Arctis 5, Apex 7 and Sensei Ten which all have RGB etc so I wondered if maybe it was a power issue, but even with the switch powered via it's USB-C power port it occasionally does it. And _only ever_ on my work PC. It's just one of those "same thing different brand" ones, Anopu USB3 KVM Switch.

Any ideas? It's a mild frustration at the moment but I can imagine it becoming more annoying over time...

It just happened now after about 2hrs use, I've switched Pierson the work PC to see if it helps. I wonder if it's because my own PC has it plugged into a SS port which is providing more stable power delivery to devices?

So I installed USBLogView this morning as it happened 4 times in 10 minutes... No plug events so it's not the USB devices being "unplugged".

I've powered the switch via it's USB-C input for now to see if it's a power delivery issue. I notice my mouse stays on but when it stops working, the RGB will flicker and "restart" its lighting cycle - though the cursor never works again until I manually unplug the mouse/switch.
