Mouse surface advise please!

Looking for a new surface for good tracking for FPS games. I have an ExactX control mat from Razor which i have had for years and its warn down .

I was looking at the ocuk XXL mat but at £20 that is a lot for a mouse mat and I have seen it has been as low as £6 in the past so having trouble justifying that.

Dont suppose there is a deal on this due?

Anyone got alternatives?

I swear by my glass mouse mat, had it for ages and I can't see it ever wearing out.

Konig I think make them these days.

OcUK mat is beast.

I got a free normal mouse sized one with a bundle I got but upgraded to the 2nd largest after seeing some pictures.

Fits my keyboard and mouse with plently of space, dust and water wipes right off and just as precise and smooth as my old Razer hard mat.

I would suggest you find out what space you have and go from there, when I eventually chew through this mat it will be another OcUK one for me

Did you get it when it was £6 though as I would have bought it if it was under £10 but at £20 seems a lot for a mouse mat.

I got it @ full price.

You need to know that the £20~ range OcUK mats are more desk/keyboard + mouse mat combinations.

The medium OcUK mat is your standard mouse mat and it is under £10.

Tbh I've had Razer soft + hard gaming surfaces and there is 0 difference between Ocuk and Razer. In fact, I prefer the Ocuk finish/feel and would rather give Ocuk my dosh, Razer are a hyped brand that get enough cash

Thanks, I realise they are big just the fact they have been so low puts be off spending so much. Also makes me think if I buy now and then they are £6 in the future then I have over paid.

I have the razor hard and I find it is not that good for aiming in FPS's as the fine tuning on mouse movements is missing. Assume the ocuk ones seem good for gaming?

I like the SteelSeries QCK, Not sure if OCUK have them.
