Hi all

I have a Logitech G5 mouse, and when I am say half way down a web page and click on a link, if I return to the previous page using the back button on the mouse, it takes me to the top of the previous page rather than the line I was looking at. It's fairly annoying, especially when I'm browsing a very large page, as I have to scroll down again to find where I was reading.

Any ideas? Can't find anything on Google.

And don't touch the scrollwheel until the page is completely loaded, sometimes it wont jump down to where you were reading until it has the whole page, and scrolling in the meantime can foul that up.

But, yes, using a browser written by people who have read the actual web standards is always a good move, firefox, opera, anything but Exploder.

Apparently it's a bug caused by Logitech's Setpoint software in case anyone stumbles across this.

I've fixed it by setting the buttons to keystroke Alt-left arrow and Alt-right arrow and it works fine now.

People seem far too quick to blame IE for everything! In my experience it's a perfectly fine browser.

Thanks all :).
