Mouse trouble

Hey guys,

My mouse has an intermittent left clicking problem, sometimes triple clicking etc with one press. Just wondered if anyone else had ever had this problem ? is it faulty or a software issue ? :confused:

btw its a (microsoft intellimouse explorer 5 button)

try plugging it in another pc. if it does the same it's broken.

tried reinstalling drivers? you should try it with none of that microsft ****. let windows use it's own driver then you can tell if it's software issue.

also look in control panel, things like mouse settings, ease of access center, accessibility might have accidently enabled something for mouse click

I checked all settings and cant see anything wrong, also messed with the drivers with no change. I'll try it in my laptop when i get chance, but i'm thinking the micro switch is faulty. It's pretty annoying when i'm trying to highlight something and it keeps opening it instead :mad:

Guess i'll be looking for a new one then, any suggestions for a good mouse for games etc ?

I play all types of games, but fps and rpg mainly. I just looked at the razor, its a lot more than i'd usually spend on a mouse, but if it's worth it then the cost isn't really an issue.
