Mouse wheel, requires window focus before it works....

Now I'm on Vista, that's a bit annoying. It never used to require actual focus in XP, as long as the cursor was over the required window, the wheel would work on whatever was below it.

Logitech MX620 using Setpoint latest version.

Any ideas?

Does it make a difference if setpoint is not running?

Im using MX600 and it works fine.

I'm 99% sure that behavior isn't standard in Windows, since it was recently added to Mac OS 10.5 and I remember being pretty impressed with it.

Can you think of any software you might have installed to give you that?

Nope. Until now I was using the following :

XP (32), MS Intellimouse Explorer (v3), stock windows drivers.

I don't want to start an argument, but that functionality simply doesn't exist in XP by default. You must have tweaked / installed something somewhere.

Tis quite possible then. Didn't install anything to consciously change that function. It was just 'there' IIRC.

Unless it was an option in TweakXP perhaps.....
