Hey all,

My 7 year old trusty logitech MX1000 broke sk I need a replacement. If like the same again but they're hard to find. I can get one on eBay but ideally I need to buy one today. I know the rules on posting links to other shops but seeing as this is only a local store (nit a big chain), I hopeni can be allowed to post a link.

Do do I buy a cheap mouse today but order another mx1000, or get a different one from here?

I don't want to spend silly money, but I'll go to £50 I it's as good or better than the MX1000. Ideally it needs to be logitech, razor or saitek etc so I can program the buttons on a per game basis.

Thanks!

Most wireless mice are terrible for gaming, the response rate is just awful. You could get a Razer Mamba, if you plan on spending more than £50

THanks for the responses guys. I've used the MX1000 for years without any problems - I'm probably not good enough an FPS gamer to notice the difference lol. I hate corded mice as I often have to move the mouse from the pull out shelf onto to the top of the desk so I can use the HOTAS controller for flight sims. It's a PITA to do with a corded mouse. That G400/500 does look nice.

Well that computer orbit shop was a waste of time. I should by now high street "PC Shops" are utter $hite. Just using a crappy Dell optical mouse, until I decide what to get

Disagree with the first part of your statement as I've used wireless gaming mice for 6yrs+ with no probs. First a logitech mx600 and now (agreeing with the second part of your statement) a Razor Mamba :)
