Just a simple bit of advice required, im wanting the best mouse mat going :) Not a good or great one but the BEST, BUT urm what is the best? So much conflicting statements and oppinions lol, hard, soft, metal? I just want a **** hot mouse mat, in small or medium size. Any ideas? Love the look and idea of the slamepad or the razer Manticor Elite, but im only guessing because of there price then the must be awsome?

I've only ever had soft mats, however I think I'd like Low DPI and hard mat :(

Edit: Personally, I don't think there is a best, it all comes down to your preference.

tbh i've used both hard and soft, used the razer destrutor v1 yonks ago and loved it, useing the razer goliatus atm and love it but its massive and green. I have a need for things to be co-ordinated and neat ie couler matching and so on. I honestly didnt think finding a new mat would be such a pain in the backside. Was actually looking at the ocuk one, seems many have it so must be pretty good, was also looking at the Corsair MM200 one too, but then i like the idea of trying a metal one but then they aint cheap to take a punt lol.....And now im rambling -_-

its all a matter of opinion for a mouse mat im afraid...

ive used....

razor destructer
razor sphex
ocuk xxxl mousemat
steelseries 4hd
razor goliathus speed one
and some freebies from lans:

a couple of thermaltake ones
aerocool strike-x
xfx warpad
and some generic ones...

my favorite? the razor sphex. its about 1mm thick with a sticky back. i use the OCUK xxxl to cover my desk, with the sphex stuck to it, its awesome. at lans i use the XFX warpad with another sphex stuck to it (the warpad has a clip on it to keep it stuck to the table, and creates a nice wrist rest!

my suggestion is try out a few, and then stick to what you like :)

...weirdly I just got a razer sphex. its a bit slick imo the grain on it is a bit too smooth.

the best mousepad I've used is a everglide titan, that thing was pure luxury. I call it the rolls royce of mousepads.

1 x Razer Destructor 2 Expert Gaming Surface £34.99
Total : £37.97 (includes shipping : £2.48).

Nothing but fond memorys of the first destructor so this can only be better, or one would asume lol

The Everglide Titan is indeed the best mat I have ever had, though they do appear to have stopped being made.

The OcUK one is very good though.

I've used my Icemat Black for a good 10 years, dunno if ya can still get them but if ya can i recommend them. I was the team sniper in CS back in the day so had to have something accurate.
